Being my first spring break as a teacher instead of student, what better way to spend it than on my first real road trip? We saw lots of beautiful old things -- old mountains, old churches, old castles, and some precious old ladies. I even managed to scratch out a poem in the backseat of our van while bumping down an old mountain road. For this lover of all things old and/or beautiful, it was a delightful week.
